StarBrains.tv is a TechMakesArt project. This page explains what happens to information about you when you use starbrains.tv. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't use cookies, and we never sell anything about you.

Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site safe from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites and doesn't build a profile of you; we only see totals, like how many people visited a page.

We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't set any cookies, so there's no cookie banner.

Watching videos

Videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to what it collects. Links to YouTube and TikTok take you to those sites, which have their own rules.

Children

Our videos are for everyone, including children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete their address.

Emailing us

If you email us at show address, we keep the email so we can reply. Our email is hosted by Proton.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at show address and we'll reply within a month.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
